Monitor resolution problem

Hey all, just recently migrated a computer to a new monitor. For some reason, the display doesn't stretch across the screen on 1920X1080. Instead it only will strech across the screen on 1680X1050. Yes, the monitor I have is 1920x1080 native so I'm not sure why. my guess is that the old monitor settings are somewhere, and yes I already installed the monitor driver for my lg so that's not it I don't think yet the driver may not be functional on 64 bit vista, I'll look into that.

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah, I'm going to reinstall the driver. I already did with the other monitor though.

So, it seems the driver does the job, but for whatever reason it reverts back to a fixed ratio when I restart the computer. I don't understand, any ideas?

What kinda video card do u have. Check online its max resolution

OK it should be able to support it
Make sure all the settings are right o yah set it to wide screen. Some of my games did that i just changed the settings check if theirs any settings for widescreen and configure them

Also Try the Nvidia Control panal ok.

Did you wipe your old driver before reinstalling the new one?
The drivers may be conflicting, causing it to change on restart.
