Monitor Calibration

You folks are prolly gonna laugh at this question, but im just wondering in Windows XP home how you can calibrate the monitor so that it will look normal, without this bluish haze I have from running a convertor box that sends a signal to a TV.

Any suggestions you folks could give would be appreciated

yeah, just adjust the monitor until it looks right in my answer. Some monitors come with default settings that you can switch back to... Mine does.

Well, I've been looking for those, but for some reason my monitor doesn't support it here!!! With my old POS Compaq, I could calibrate the colors.
