Monitor Cable: DVI vs. Analog

Hi, thanks for looking...

I have an EVGA 7600 GT and a Viewsonic LCD. currently I am using the standard VGA plug w/ a DVI Adapter (on the card).

Will there be a difference if I buy a DVI cable? I realize that this is a broad question. I use my PC not only for the basics, but also for high-end gaming.

basiaclly its a better signal and sharper image but its not that noticable.


Just stick with the VGA to DVI adapter to now...

It is somehwt better but it's not always a big difference. I'd say buy the dvi cable if you can get it for cheap. Retail they go from $40-80 depending on where you get it. I picked up one from www.newegg.com for $14. Any male-to-male cable will work.
