If you look around in your area they probably have apartments for those with low income, making 20k a year should definitely make you eligible to rent one, they may not be the best but they are affordable.

it IS probably possible but thing would be tight as logn as i still have 2 student loans and 2 maxed out credit cards over my head. not to mention car insurance and gas. luckily the credit cards ar only smallish limits and i've nearly got oen of the loans paid. I might be ok after that.

id be eating a lot of kraft dinner.

i quit smoking 8 days ago so that would be saving money... but i eat 2 or 3x more now heh so i cant say it really ballances out.

I would also have to say 110k a year. I could live real comfortable off 100k a year.
