Hi I have the same problem
the patch say
WARNING : could not find the UK or US version of Medal of Honor Allied Assault Installaled on your computer. Setup will now exit.

can you tell me what to add in the registry
if I want to install Spearhead

can you help me please ?

I HAV MANAGED 2 FIX THIS PROBLEM.

I CREATED A FILE WHICH SHOULD UPGRADE THE REGISTRY TO FIX THIS.

DOWNLOAD FROM HERE- http://www.g4me.org/mohflt.reg

ONCE D/L JUST DOUBLE-CLICK!

THIS SHOULD UPDATE THE REG AND FIX THIS PROB

What? So everyone is having the same problem with this game? I bought it a while back, but haven't installed it yet.... I hope I don't run into this problem. Stupid EA....

Found a fix!

Sorted, dont panic- there is a tiny download registry fix (self installs) do a google search for <MOHAA spearhead registry fix> or similar that did it for me.
I can email it you if you have no luck finding it.

Me either, and I've had the game for just under a year and run it on XP Pro.

I had the problem only once - the first two times i installed it were fine. Guess its one of those things, eh guys!

Hi fellas. I had the same problem too and thought I'd share the solution i located somewhere else. It worked for me. Enjoy !!

Run Regedit

Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > EA GAMES >MEDAL OF HONOR ALLIED ASSAULT

Rightclick the folder named 1.1.12.xxx where xxx is some number (depends on your version) and select "RENAME"
Change the name to 1.1.12.200

INSTALL THE PATCH

If That dont Work Try 1.1.12.100

INSTALL THE PATCH
