mobo question

i wanna get a new mobo with socket 754 and has a pcix 16 slot.

I would get a socket 939 CPU, due to they are discontinuing the 754.

ASUS is not very good with AMD as well.

It would probally be OK, and better than some dodgy make like Epox ect.
