Mix RCA and Component

I am trying to hook up my computer to my TV but I have limited cable options.

What I have,

-HDTV output cable (it has three cables extending outwards that are red, green, and blue... same as component?)
-RCA Cables (2)
-S-Video to composite adaptor

My question is: can I attach an RCA cable to the HDTV output cable or will that not work?

and... Is the yellow cord from an RCA cable the same as a composite cable? Can I use that to hook up my computer to my TV?

Sorry if I am being confusing... I am really new to this.

ur gonna need something like that..

then use component cables to go to ur TV

No, you can't mix component and composite.

What inputs does your tv have? Just component I'm guessing?

yeah if u want it to be HD then component is for u. RCA is like analog and Component is like digital. they dont mix
