Please can someone help...

I uninstalled MS Office 2000 then tried to install MS office 2003, but during the installation i get an error message saying that it was unable to open the registry key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSOLAPErrorLookup\Clsid.). I've looked on the MS website and it suggests seeing if i have the permissions on my user and i have change it so i do, but still the same happens. I've also tried installing it from other user account, but still the same error message. Also i can't re-install office 2000 back either due to the same problem. Is there anyway i can alter the registry key so that it is accessible?

Thanx

well in my HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes, there is no MSOLAPErrorLookup\Clsid, and i have 2003. try deleting the MSOLAPErrorLookup, but backup your registry first.
