I just added two sticks of memory to my Dell Dimension 8400 desktop. I already had 2X256 DDR2 memory installed in two of the four slots and added two more 2X256 ddr2 sticks for a total of 1 gig. My question is that after it was installed the computer told me that I had added more memory and that I indeed had 1 gig except one set of memory was rated at X16 and the other X8. What does this mean and how does it effect the operation/speed of the installed memory? If at all? Thanks, Nick
