memory could not be read while playing any game

why do i always get memory could not be read after a while on every game??

you need to do a memory check. One of your sticks may be on the fritz.

I sometimes have the same problem but not after games its usually when closing an IE window. How do you do a memory check?

I use the ms one, just make a bootable disk put it in and reboot, it does all the work for you. If you have bad memory then it tells you. Simple really. Just read the information on the site.

first off, could you plz provide a lil more info?

like, what type of memory are u using/amount ?

mobo?

and how many sticks do you have installed right now?

do u know how to take out your memory sticks?

if you do, and you have..say, 2 sticks in..then try to take 1 stick out..and test a game to see if it crashes..repeat w/ the other stick.

of course doing Memtest86 would help, but doin it the way i mentioned would too.
