Teny...I'm going to guess 6. I don't know man. Today is not the best day to give me an algebra problem. I know how to do it, but I just don't want to. Gotta do common denominators, then cross-multiply, cancel stuff, blah blah blah...Sorry man. Just not the day for me. My school lost at the second playoff game (we finished the season 9-2), my cellphone got ran over by a car, and I'm broke.

x(2x-1)/3y-z
Let x=-4, y=3, and z=5

= -4(2(-4)-1)/3(3)-5
= -4(-8-1)/9-5
= -4(-9)/4
= 36/4
= 9

I got what the difference was. In your book there was a big division bar thingy, but here its not. Here is how I got -1:

x(2x-1)/3y-z
Let x=-4, y=3, and z=5

= -4(2(-4)-1)/3(3)-5
= -4(-8-1)/9-5
= -4(-9)/9-5
= 36/9-5
= 4-5
= -1
