Media player problem

Windows media player 9 does not see my cd copier, strange thing is that windows its self does and so does nero, looked on net seems am not alone with this problem but could find no solution. CD is Aopen and is set up as a slave am running XP.

I've had this problem too but I dont use Windows Media...Why would you ? Why don't you just use Nero?

Downloaded Nero update (5 to 5.5) and now can see burner, its been driving me mad, thanks for help in pointing me in right direction
