Ugh, I hate most of the game protection "copyright" stuff.

Valve's idea with steam greatly reduces their piracy, to play online in normal servers you need the game! They also don't try to stop for example LAN only copy's of CS 1.6 floating around either.

very true, steam was a great idea and it seems to be working very well, i must admit that that is my only motivation to buy legit games lol. i used to play nonsteam games alot and then i decided that it was time to play in real servers.
