Mapping a local drive in XP

I set up a pier to pier network between Win 98se and Win XP. The computer with XP has a CDRW and if possible, I'd like to network it so I can burn CDs through the network. Can I map this drive to my computer? I currently have it mapped, but it shows up as a network folder, not a drive. When I try to access it, it says that it is not available (or something like that). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was looking for similar solution for Windows until I finally decided just to use Linux. There's a Linux program called WebCDWriter that allows you to burn cds over the network using a simple web interface.
