Yes I certainly do
Avira uses much less resources than AVG
Regarding your concern about the scan by Avira
Avira will scan and then automatically "quarantine" (note: it may prompt on manual scan) any known found Virus or other Malware, this is good
Yes it does but not by much, not enough to be worried about it.
Check it out , scroll down to bottom. The difference my tests was Avira used 3376 kn less than AVG, so 3mb difference.
MSE uses the most but with both AVG and MSE running, my system run smooth on 2GB of ram at home and 4GB at work, one 32bit and the othr 64bit.
Osiris that is high for MSE. Even with my AntiMalware (MsMpEng.exe), MSE (msseces.exe), the command line utility (MpCmdRun.exe) all running i dont get a combined total of what you show.
I get a combined total of less than 70mb for all 3. What also has to be remembered is that MSE is more than just a anti-virus like AVG and Avira. It also replaces Defender for anti-spyware, combines with the Malware Removal Tool that Microsoft sends out monthly (The main resource hog), and is also the Virus scanner. So yeah while it eats up more, it also does more.
You just opened up a can of worms with that, actually bigger than worms, nightcrawlers.........
Downloads and Installs Microsoft Genuine Advantage (a nuisance program that can and should be removed by visiting and reading ) Note: MS themselves have posted a more comprehensive removal HERE (this due to public outrage of such a hoorible invasion) This Antivirus will automatically enable Microsoft (note not "Windows") Automatic updating Many users tend to disable MS updates (to speed up their computer, AND to allow manual updating when the User decides to Note: MS Updates includes Windows and Office and others, I hope you have lots of bandwidth for all of these 100s and 100s of Megs to download, automaticallyThis Antivirus will CALL HOME, meaning it will send your information back to MS servers, which no other Antivirus has ever done before (or presently does) This is classed in modern day terms as Malware or Spyware. If you don't mind MS retrieving unknown information from your personal computer, then go for it.
I must mention that Malwarebytes can have "Quick Scans" done, as I have now confirmed
BUT, you should do a few in a row, and remove all found malwares, until none exist
