Hello there,

Running fully updated windows 7, 5 gigs RAM. AMD quad-core system. I gig video memory.

I just recently had my web email account hacked, and speaking to a computer enthusiast friend told me I likely have some kind of infection. I run AVG 9 fully updated. Anyhow, Here are my logs, first malware and then HJT. Are there any other explanations for my hacked email, other than some worm, virus, or trojan? The email hack resulted in my entire contact list being utilized in sending out an email with a single URL in it for some stupid phishing site. I was able to change the password. Thanks!

Not that I know of....my chief concern is that I don't know how I got my web-based email account hacked in the first place....it was the kind where it sends an email to everyone on your contact list and the entire body of the message is just a link to visit a site. how does this crap usually happen? It left me convinced that I have some kind of unknown virus, worm, or trojan on my computer that I don't know about. Aside from this email issue, my computer runs like a dream - I've never had any other issues. Any thoughts?

This happened to me when I logged on to a computer at work. I checked my email and that night my email address sent all kinds of messages with just a link in the body. It went away and a few months later i log into the same machine and wham that night more spam emails sent out. Strange.
