Making a TRNG from my PSU?

So, getting voltage fluctuations from my PSU will work, but if I were to upgrade to a higher efficiency device, I would no longer receive any data? I suppose that makes sense. Would it be more practical, then, to pull RPM readouts from my case fans?

No, because they aren't randomly spinning, they spin upto a certain RPM when needed and stay there till they are told to spin back down, or stay at an almost steady RPM through-out...

Keywords "almost-steady". Doesn't the fan RPM fluctuate a little bit, even while idle?

Not enough for software sensors to pickup usually, I almost never see a change, and it's never really random.

That's not really much of a variance IMO... It's still averaging around that 917 mark.

I don't need a large variance. As long as the sensors can pick it up, I can compute an average, and pull data from it.
