Making a script that sends information to RamDisk for games

So recently someone posted a thread about scripts, and making a new computer, the dude wanted 16GB of RAM, but that is way more than you need, so I was thinking...

If its possible to make a script so that when you launch a game it goes into the files of the game, and loads all the textures to your ram, most likely using RAMDisk, and then launches the game?

For example-

I click the shortcut to launch battlefield 3.
The shortcut has a script set to go into the game files, launches Ramdisk, and loads all the specified folders(most likely the textures folder) to the ram
The game launches normally
The game loads better and is smoother

Is this hard? It doesn't sound too hard to me, it would just take a bit of customizing. Why don't others do this?

what do you guys think?
