loud laptop battery?

when i have my laptop charging it click loudly like kind the sound when your processor is loading. if i unplug it it almost stops but is still faint. could the battery be failing already? after 4 months?

Actually,that clicking noise,is your hardrive.I wouldnt be able to help with your battery problem,it sounds quite weird,i would ring dell.

prolly cause when unplugged it runs slower....to save battery power.....

Probably coming from the PSU or the HDD
