Thats because when you sign up the default birthdate is 1/1/70, making you 38 years old if you don't edit it.

Yeah the birthday list is always being updated, you're automatically placed on it when you join, the trouble is that I don't think you're removed when you leave or you're PB'd, I wouldn't betting that furgy & the rest of the hackers & spammers are still there, even those who showed naked pics of Jennifer Lopez etc!
