looking for PowerDVD 10

well i need this program to install on a computer so it will play dvds. I am not looking for the "free" version that has a 30 day free trail. i was wondering if there was a totally free version of this. I googled for a while and didnt find a totally free version. If any of you know of version 10 or an equally effective older version please let me know. thanks guys!

thanks. yea i tried divx and a couple other and none of them would run the dvd.

umm idk. do you think powerDVD came with it? because that was the only program that has worked. there is still the divx codec thing on the computer..but it didnt work with the media player for that program

I'm not sure. After installing Klite codecs, I could always watch DVDs on WMP.

Try installing a codec pack like KLite or using something like VLC. This is more of a codec issue than anything else. PowerDVD does have codecs bundled with it. That is why the DVD's play by default.
