I just got a new machine (see specs. below) and it's got really old hardware and most distros are too fancy to work with it. I was wondering if there are any distros that will work with it and are easy to install. I tried DSL (Damn Small Linux) and it wouldn't work, my monitor said that the input mode wasn't supported and I changed it to a better mode and it worked but it wouldn't install and frankly I couldn't even figure out how to install it and when it did install it didn't work so I said screw it and gave up.

All I'm looking for is something that will run on the specs. below and is easy to install:
PII 333MHZ
128MB RAM
10GB HDD
4MB onboard video

try featherweight linux (search on google) its free and great, although i had people telling me this was impossible, i had a laptop from the year 2000 with 64MB RAM and a 233MHZ processor pentium 2, i wanted xp but everyone said it was impossible, it worked, and it will on your laptop/pc too! BUUUTTTT VEEERRRYYY SLLLLLOOOWWWLLLYYY!!!
