Looking for a new MMORPG

Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone has played any good mmorpgs lately. I played WOW for a while but i quit and i was looking for a new one and wanted to see what everyone else played.

I played WOW for about a year and a half and I loved it. My friends at school are trying to get me back into it, but I'm staying strong! I haven't played any other MMOs, but my buddy who plays WOW said he thought Everquest was better; especially the combat system.

Yep, I am a true lover of WoW, too. Even though I don't play on retail servers, I am a fully dedicated player. There a lot of other MMORPGs out there you can try. Do you want graphical ones like WoW, or the ever so hated RuneScape? Browser based like Travian or Tribal Wars, or text based like ... i forgot...

Heres a really good browser based one: http://www.robowarsgame.com/index.php I am really addicted to this game even though I haven't been playing in awhile. The idea is to build the best robot you can build. Its a really cool game, again, its not really massive, but its awesome.

i was thinking about guild wars but i havent heard anything about it really, and there are always chics on the front of it, is that the only choice of genders? is it like WOW or is it something else? what about anarchy online?

I believe the consensus is leaning towards GW. Me, I am a WoW player and I'll probably never get bored with it. Why did you quit WoW? It's a really fun game, the retail version is great, but it has a monthly fee, but there is always free private servers!
