Looking for a high quailty computer

I am looking to purchase a computer to use heavily in recording music and editing video. I would like to even be able to listen to music while recording other music at the same time. I dont want a lot of lag or dragging if I could help it. Do they sell computers specifically for this kind of thing?

As yuki says, workstations are the way to go for that. If you're able to build one yourself you will save a ton of money though - high end graphics card, sound card and probably a dual socket CPU setup.. although you might be able to get away with something high-end single socket with some overclocking and appropriate cooling (cases large enough for multi-socket boards are pretty pricey)

A workstation or custom build will do the job, Either way you go it won't make much difference.
