So you want to be able to connect to your other computer? If they're close to each other like in the same room, you can use a crossover serial cable.
If they're in separate rooms or somewhere in the house and you want to share printer and files, then you'll need a wireless access point. You should be able to use a regular wireless router, just don't use the WAN port. Just plug the ethernet cable from one PC to Port 1 and have the other PC hooked up with a wireless USB adapter. I think that should do it. I never done this before using a wireless router. Will this even work? They do make a dedicated Access Point. Netgear and Linksys have these:
LINKSYS WAP54G Wireless-G 54Mbps Access Point - Retail

Then get wireless USB adapters for your PCs. THis is what I have. The exact same model and it works great:
Free shipping promotion, ends 5/1/06
D-Link DWL-G122 IEEE 802.11b/g USB 2.0 Wireless Adapter up to 54Mbps Data Rates 64/128-Bit WEP, 802.1x, WPA - Retail

I love the cradle. You can move it anywhere.
