logitech keyboard cutting out during gaming

i have a logitech k780 keyboard and m720 mouse

both bluetooth and both are connected through same BT dongle that came with them
havent had any issues that i noticed until i started playing destiny2 and it would randomly stop responding for few seconds
but it happens consistently throughout the game sometimes at very bad spots

then it comes back
3-5 seconds usually that it doesnt work at a time

i need help troubleshooting this to see if its keyboard or the game or something else?

should i be using both BT dongles for each piece individually?

Is your internet through wifi?

the mouse works but keyboard cuts out
they are sharing same BT dongle that came with one of them

Bluetooth is way more prone to interference, and same goes for the Logitech unify receivers that come with some combos. I too have the M720, but I've never had any problems. Seems like wifi is causing the keyboard to cut out.

it only seems to happen in destiny 2 game
when i flip the switch off and on it comes back right away
but if i dont flip it can take up to 5 seconds for it to work again
its less than a year old and doesnt do it anywhere else but destiny 2 i have no idea how to pinpoint the issue lol
