Logitech Headset Propblems

Ive got a Logitech Heaset, but I have a problem. I can hear sound through the earphones ok, but when I try to use the mic, it doesnt work. I was using it, then when I used it again one hour later, it wasn't working. Ive tried Doing the hardware test, made sure the audio options were fine, but still absolutely nothing, Not even an error. Please help.

PS- I run XP Sp2 and have all recent drivers.

is there a mute button on the headset you might of hit by accident? if your using it on a game check if the mic volume is all the way up also.
