does anyone know where i can find a firmware upgrade for the LiteOn CDRW 48x12x48x LTR-48125W V.08 drive, cause i know that you can update the 12x liteon to a 24x drive.
I've just updated my firmware on the 48x12x48 Lite-On to VS08 and just saw this thread about making it a 48x24x48. I see where 'Massive' says that it can be done and 'Chopper' gave the link to Lite-On's firmware page. I've downloaded R48SS09 and before I flash it - I want to know for sure this works! Don't want to mess up the drive. Chopper, if you or anyone else has done this - please let me know - by a reply here on the forum or at my email: jmccants@lightningpro.net.
