If you weren't paranoid enough already about people spying on you, this article should put you over the top. The worst part about this? It is not a breach of your terms of service and it's not illegal.

Two researchers say they have found a way to exploit weaknesses in the mobile telecom system to legally spy on people by figuring out the private cell phone number of anyone they want, tracking their whereabouts, and listening to their voice mail.

Well actually im fairly sure it is illegal, because depending on the country spoofing caller ID's is illegal;

? we're talking about the caller ID spoofing where it pops up as someone else's name, which just recently became illegal....but yea, like you said..i don't see how any of this is legal :\
