maybe they should invent light wipers for them...like windshield wipers except for traffic lights lol

That would probably confuse more people than anything. Imagine an elderly lady sitting at a traffic light and the wiper cleans the glass.... She would think the world is ending or the light is possessed!.. Though that would be funny haha.

Or that it is a flashing red light if the snow was blowing hard...

The light at the end of the tunnel was replaced with a LED one a few weeks back and the trip looks so much longer now that most people don't make the effort any more and as such will be turned off for good on the 4th of March 2010 7:30 PM GMT.
