LCD Screens?

Do any of you with LCD screens have troubles with playing Counter-Strike 1.6? I can't seem to boost my FPS (and yes I know about vsync).

im using an LCD screen that came with one of my dell dimensions and it's working perfectly constant 99-100fps on cs 1.6
