I am looking to buy a LCD wide screen monitor very soon. Price range $250 to $350 what should I get ?

I would like to have a 23" screen but what is the Dynamic ratio about? They are from 50000 to 1 some are 100000 to 1, also some are backlight some are not. So help!!!!.

This. It really doesn't mean much.

With that budget, I suggest you look into some ASUS or Samsung panels.

Yup. It's more of an advertisement point than anything IMO. (I think response times are pointless as well. Anything under 6ms is good imo)

All that stuff is usually measured in a way that makes the monitor look good on paper.

Before you get on me about the refresh rate, it's measured in white-to-black, instead of gray-to-gray, which is why the time is higher. It's an IPS panel, which provides more correct colors and (from what I hear) easier text reading.
