LCD driver question

I've got a LP154WP4-TLA1 LCD from an all in one PC that was driven by the motherboard.

Anyways when I added a video card, that disabled the internal display.

I'd like to have the display working so I looked and found several different kits that have everything I need to get the display going with a VGA, HDMI and DVI input. All I need to supply is +12V power which the PC should be able to supply.

Amazon shows two listings, but both are the same board by different Chinese manufacturers.

eBay shows more.

Ali Express shows some kits that have a TV function as well.

Is it a good idea to try one of those kits?

I can still get replacement LCD panels should I ever need to replace it.

Also when the computer is no longer viable (will be when Windows 10 end of support happens), I can gut it, install a 12 volt supply, mount the board to where the connectors stick out of the case or find some sort of extension cable and I'd still have a decent monitor.

I may get the Amazon one unless there's a better kit out there.

I figure since the LCD is mounted to the front of the computer and is doing nothing, I may as well try to use it as a second monitor.

I ordered the board from Amazon and when it comes in I'll see how well it works.

Another option when support for Windows 10 ends is to find a real small motherboard and install it in the existing case and use one video output for the built in monitor.

Well the display works.

Here's how I mounted it. I need to tidy up the wiring and also find a DVI to DVI cable with right angle connectors or a DVI to HDMI cable with right angle connectors.

I found this one which looks like it's small enough to work. I don't want the cable sticking out the back though.

Oh don't mind the boot failure. I use a NVME drive in a PCI-E adapter and have the USB drive with the drivers on it unplugged so the PC won't boot fully given I don't have the keyboard connected.

When support for Windows 10 ends I could get a real small motherboard to mount in there and have a built in display.
