Hi im new to this forum and I have a question. I only have a desktop(windows) and was thinking about getting a laptop. Iam leaning towards getting a MacBook but I am not sure that this is the right choice. Please help me decide. I am pretty tech savy.

have you ever used the mac operating system? its like being in heaven. yes, get a macbook.

yes get one mac os is awesome. you can also use bootcamp to run windows alongside it if you have programs you need to use but require windows. definately get a mac if your budget allows it.

Okay next question. Im on a budget and was wondering if i should purchase a refurbished one.

I see no harm in getting a refurbished apple. Apple has great warranties and their tech. support has always been better than any PC maker. Definitely get the apple, besides the refurbished one will save you a few bucks.
