Laptop keys question

How do I clean my laptop keys since my "Y" button is sticky now and I want them to be smooth again. If I have to open it how do I open my laptop to clean the keys?

Get a bottle of this stuff called Goo Gone and use either a cloth or q-tip to clean your keys. Removing your keyboard can be done one of a few ways depending on what laptop you have. You can usually look up your model on the manufacturer's site and download a service manual for it where it'll explain how to do such things. What model do you own?

A Toshiba but don't know what model.

There should be a model number or series number on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop.
