laptop keyboard bad

have a acer 5100 and the keyboard and touch mouse bad doesnt work at all and i try to plug up a external keyboard and mouse and it dosnt work either i was wondering could anyone help me out with this problem

My first guess would be drivers....but how do you install drivers if you have no input device :S

no warrenty yea im tryin to restore my computer case some happen i dont know what happened tho
