Laptop issue

Hey, my laptop will no longer start up properly. It comes up with the Start Windows normally or safe mode screen and whichever option I choose will start the BIOS then send me back to the "start windows normally" screen. Sometimes Windows will begin to load then quickly flash the BSoD and send me again to "Start Winodws Normally"... Any ideas?

virus maybe, you may need to reformat your hard drive because of it.

Yeah it started from a virus. The machine wont let me boot from CD. It just keeps half loading Windows then goes to BSoD and repeats over and over making re formatting virtually impossible.

And Burn it too a CD,and then boot from it.It's got some good anti virus programs on it that might help you.

Well if it goes to the BIOS then just go to the boot options, put boot from CD 1st, save changes then it should restart and boot from CD. I dk, im just pulling something out. I dont know what your laptop manufacturer is but when it starts, try pressing esc, f10 or f12 to get to the options to boot in safe mode. Try booting in safe mode and see what you can do. System restore? might not fix it but worth a try.
