Laptop Harddrive upgrade

The more I read on google, the more I get confused. Hope you gurus can help me here. My laptop has a 2.5" 80 gig Ultra ATA/100 EIDE drive. I want to upgrade to more, but unsure due to some compatibility questions on my part. I noticed hard drives now are SATA. All the laptop drives on newegg.com are SATA. The other Ultra ATA/100 from hp's site that is compatible is way too expensive. The one I want is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148452

Any compatibility issues? Any suggestions if not?

The one you want (that you posted a link to) from newegg is a SATA (Serial ATA) and you need a PATA (Parallel ATA.) I'll look for a good deal for you...
