Laptop dropping off internet on video calls

FIRST BACKUP THE DRIVE and then if you download the windows 10 ISO and mount it and run the installer then you will be able to install windows 10 without deleteing the program FIRST MAKE A BACKUP techist.com is not responsible for loss of data so MAKE A BACKUP if this is not possible you can just buy a new pc or get one used

On a second thought if you buy one used off of something like facebook,kijji,kraiglist or what ever post the link here before you buy it and we can give you advice on it and make sure ya don't get scammed

have you tested with both network cable and builtin wifi? if so, have you tried with a usb wifi card?

can you actually record the issue your having and or take screenshots? just sounds strange to me. was you always able to play videos ok? when did this start happening?

maybe read his OP... he has tried alot already.

A reinstall would do him alot of good but it sounds like he can't do that
And whatever you end up doing your dad should back up his software if he is worried about it
