Lag??

Its strange. It happend last night. My brother and I went on a cs server and noticed we had around 160 ping in all servers. If i disconnect hes fine same when he disconnects. If were in differnt servers same thing. It doesnt happen when im playing bf2 demo and hes on cs tho... Its only when where both on cs... ? I really dont know whats wrong. Our rates are fine. Our connection is 5 megs and we are not downloading or updating anything. PLEASE HELP. thanks
