lag issues with planetside

Ok my friend just told me that he lags pretty bad with his 9800pro even with high or low settings which is weird cause i have a 9250 that runs it fine someone help?

Planetside is a great game but BADLY coded. Its being ported to DX9 soon and that should increase FPS on most systems, its really 'luck of the draw' of whether PS runs well on your PC at the current time.

I got to talk with the former head of Sony Online Entertainment (SOE), Kelly Flock, (He's my neighbor) He said Planetside was great on paper but lacked in execution.

only due to the incompitance of the devs. If PS had beeb developed by a good (better should i say) team it would have blown other FPS's out of the water.

Well, the problem was, as Mr. Flock put it, that people just didn't see the point in paying a monthly fee for something they could be doing on BF 1942 for free.
