Just bought my first car :D

60hp I3? You may complain that us Americans drive oversized cars, but at least they're fun to drive. If you have the money to drive a 6 liter V8, in my eyes, why the hell would you not?
That car must have trouble getting up to highway speeds.

Anyway, congrats. Regardless of the engine, etc, I'm still jealous :p

As a side note, there's a deal in the paper for an '05 GTO for $15k. Not bad at all...

-Bad for the environment.
-Dangerous to the drivers of smaller cars
-Eats up the worlds precious oil supply.

Life isn't about throwing all your money around for luxury's, this causes an overall worldwide collapse of the standard of living.

Who cares if you're into cars and you enjoy it. It's only dangerous if you drive dangerously. And yes, you consume oil, but so does everyone else. Honestly, what's the difference between 15mpg and 25mpg for one person?

Sooner rather than later, I believe cars are going to go electric. There's a ton of potential for power, and obviously the benefit of a "plug in" vehicle. The Chevy Volt is on it's way, and things like this are incredible:

I don't believe that cars are going to go completely electric, I just don't think people are going to come home and plug in their car, I just don't. I think there will be cars that run on hydrogen to fuel a generator which drives the electric motor. Honda has one out like this already called the FCX Clarity. Only available in California right now where there are hydrogen filling stations.

But either way, we need to do something so that we don't have to rely on foreign countries for oil anymore.
