I really don't know what forum this is supposed to be under but since most people view this one i will jus post here. How can someone become an internet service provider? I was in Lebanon last year and barely anyone has a connection faster than 56k. There are some areas were wireless internet is provided but not much. i just wanted to know how you can become someone who provides an inter net service

Well first to be an ISP you need to know about servers and bandwidth and all that stuff. And from your other thread, I dont think you do.

Well first you would need a ton of money, to even start it up...Then buy all the equipment and crap, thats all i can think of.

yeah you will need a lot of money jsut starting up the company, then even more money to get enough servers to provide the internet for customers.

Yeah, a lot of servers and routers and equipment of that sort to get one of these companies up and running. Takes a lot of hard work and money.
