Java start up help

Hey all,

I've been looking at some tutorials for Java on youtube.
I found a channel that explains things pretty well and everything but doesn't give any use for Java.

I was wondering if any of you knew of books/tutorials (preferably free but doesn't have to be) that would make for a good intro/help to learn Java programming.
I will be taking classes on Java later on, but I want to start learning it now.

If you have any ideas, let me know.
