Jailed for speeding at 192MPH!

I could care less what kind of car it is... If it's on a road of any form, a single pot hole at those speeds would most likely cause a tire to blow out, or worse, cause a rim to explode from the shock. Such speeds should be left to a track that's constantly being maintained.
People street race all the time in excess of these speeds and it's rather uncommon for that to happen, and it's on the backroads usually where the cops won't patrol. These vids look like they were taken on the highway which are probably maintained well. I know of some highways here in Texas I'd have no issues going extremely fast because the road is made exceptionally well with little flaws. That's in a poopy Mustang at that.

Streetracer will not reach 192mph... plus if say a deer went on the road, you can not steer the car at that speed you can only slightly move left /right , if you turn quick it will flip... no matter good the car is.#

You may watch to many movies, but cars can not be controlled or steered at that speed.

You don't need to steer when you are drag racing. Also, most street races occur on city streets where a doe is unlikely to appear. Especially here in the states. As to not reach 192MPH....please.

Plenty of street racers can easily hit 200MPH. There are 2000+HP cars that street race over here on regular roads and highways. We're not talking about your mom's Peugeot now.

And don't forget about all the street bikes as well.

Kind of funny when everyone was saying he had his daughter with him, She was 23 at the time and a adult, She got in trouble too for encouraging the high speed.

One big difference between here and there - winter. Our roads after a single hard winter turn into hell, highways tend to be well maintained, but the backroads, you can see upto 10 years between being repaved. Roads here are actually rated to be some of the best in the nation, as far as highways and the interstate system go - but once you get onto the streets, your screwed if you try those speeds.

But again, the only place I would venture those speeds is on a track that is inspected and maintained.

As for street racers not being able to hit 192mph... Some can, but those are people that have the money to put into a car... Granted they wont hit such speeds on a typical street either due to length, or traffic, on a long enough strip, they can hit those speeds.
