ISO Gfx card input Please (upgrading for a 6800gt)

Hello.

I had had many many problem with my geforce 6800gt 128mb and have actually gone through 2 exchanges of the cards. I am lookin to try out ATI since I have had so many problms with geforce.

Can anyone recommend an equivelant or better card on the ati side?

And/or do you think that if I upgraded to a higher geforce model I might have more stability?

I have troubleshot my 6800 problems for almost a year and they keep coming. So i am looking for something that performs and works hehe

The 7900GT is about the best bang for your buck out right now. They can also be voltmodded for a drastic performance increase. However, I have heard many cases of people having problems with their 7900GT's. If this bothers you, which I wouldn't doubt, seeing as you're trying to get away from problems, ATI's closest equivalent to the 7900GT is the X1800XT. However, they are more expensive, so I still recommend the 7900GT.
