What is the cheapest or best way to get ISA functionality in a modern PC?

I have a piece of music gear which requires an ISA card to run. However, the computer it currently sits in is noisy as hell.

I have a piece of music gear which requires an ISA card to run. However, the computer it currently sits in is noisy as hell.

The best thing to do is to search on eBay for one of the last ATX motherboards with ISA slots for the Hovernet card needed to run the desk. This way you can power it with a nice quiet/efficient PSU and a fast hard drive. It's only going to run Windows 95/98 so you don't need to spend much but it will make for a much quieter server.

This is a shame really cause it's a really nice desk.

I'm gonna look out for ATX motherboards with ISA support. I think that is the best solution.

Excellent. I had a look on eBay and there's some very late ATX mobo's there that support ISA for peanuts. Some are bundled with CPU's too.
