i've been reading up on DX10 and people are saying that DX10 will only be avaliable for Vista and to play DX10 games you'll have to upgrade to Vista, please tell me this isnt true

I guess that means I just might quit PC gaming once I run out of good DX9 games to play.

Microsoft is ran by a bunch of nazis that want nothing more than world power.. they are just doing it in a way that wont get them killed. They honestly expect me to spend several hundred dollars on a new OS... not to mention the cash needed to speed up my PC to keep up with vista... uhg.. just... bleh.
