Is this even possible?

Even for a large corporation that probably has fiber optic internet.

SPEED.jpg

I'm transferring a WoW client from one PC to another using TeamViewer on LAN.

I wish the entire client would transfer like that. It only jumps to that on an occasional file (which does happen to instantly transfer, mind you.)

I wish the entire internet would run this fast, and all computers / network cards be able to support it!

That file was 223 bytes, but the occasional 20+ MB file pops up with that speed.

Nope, I VERY much doubt that it's possible. The hard drives cant read/write fast enough for that kind of speed.

Excuse me but, does that say exabytes a second?!
It's the morning and I am tired, my eyes play tricks on me..

Just so you know...
1 EB = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 B

and:
1000 k kilo
1000^2 M mega
1000^3 G giga
1000^4 T tera
1000^5 P peta
1000^6 E exa
1000^7 Z zetta
1000^8 Y yotta

so:
That's 1,073,741,824 (aka: 1,000,000,000 - One Billion) gigabytes per second

and:
"One exabyte is the equivalent of about 50,000 years of DVD quality video."
