Is this a good gaming computer for the money?

I am wanting to buy a new gaming computer but am trying to spend as little as possible. I found this computer for $600 but am not sure if it is a good deal or not. It is a new, custom build computer. I'll post the specs below.

Motherboard : Asus M4N68T-M Socket AM3

Memory : 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Dual Channel

Hard Drive : 500GB 16MB CACHE SATA 7200rpm

Optical Drive : 24X DVD-RW DUAL LAYER W/LIGHTSCRIBE

Graphics Card : nVidia GeForce GTS250 1GB DDR3 DVI/VGA SLI PCI-EXP Video Card

Power Supply : 550 WATT ATX POWER SUPPLY

As long as the power supply isn't generic (buy a name brand like Corsair, Coolermaster, Antec, Seasonic, etc) and you are willing to look at a different motherboard (like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813186201 ) it looks fine to me.

The 500GB drive you mention here would be "ok" but if you can, try to get a 32MB cache version. Western Digital's Blue or Black lines would be perfect.

Otherwise, you'll be pretty happy with that setup. the GTS250 is "ok" as well, I'd rather see someone go with a 4870 (like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150436) than the 250, but that's personal preference. If you go all AMD parts, you can control most of it in software if you ever decide to overclock, so that's another bonus.

Look for a XFX, antec, seasonic psu not a fan of the corsair units
Get a 5770 and if you wanted get a 955 and just overclock it

I have a Corsair 850 in my desktop system, first PSU from them, which is a misnomer since it's not actually a Corsair...
